Friedr. Dick was founded in Esslingen, Germany in 1778. More commonly known as F Dick, they specialise in the manufacture of a huge range of quality butchers and chefs knives as well as honing steels. F Dick is still a privately owned family business, ownership is still retained by the founding family. Their products are very much respected by chefs, butchers and fisherman throughout the world. Unlike other well-known German knife manufacturers that will have certain models made in other countries to cut costs, F. Dick products are all German made.
